TB11 Bimetallic Steam Trap sensing element of the bimetallic strip drain valve is a bimetallic strip made of two metals with different expansion rates that are die cast together through a special process. The double-layer metal strip expands after heating and bends due to the different expansion rates. Using this characteristic to create a thermosensitive element for the hydrophobic valve to function as a switch
