Structural characteristics and applications

1. FT14 Screw End Steam Trap valve can quickly and timely discharge saturated condensed water continuously, ensuring that there is no water accumulation in the heating equipment, thereby achieving the highest heating efficiency.

2. The material of the valve core and seat sealing surface is cobalt chromium tungsten alloy, which is wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and durable.

3. The sealing method adopts a semi-circular spherical structure and has been developed with excellent sealing performance.

4. Half circle spherical seal, no concentrated wear during operation, long service life.

5. The float ball drives the lever to automatically adjust the opening of the drainage valve seat hole, which works continuously and is not affected by changes in steam pressure, ensuring stable performance.

6. The X series components can automatically eliminate non condensable cold and hot gases, eliminate gas lock phenomenon, and have good performance in eliminating non condensable gases.

7. The drainage valve seat hole is always below the condensate water level, forming a water seal, and there is no fresh steam leakage during operation.

8. Continuous discharge of condensate water results in stable water flow, which is particularly effective in condensate recovery systems.

The connection method of FT14 Screw End Steam Trap is horizontal thread connection. Threaded connections are available in sizes of 1¼ inch, 1½ inch and 2 inches.

The maximum allowable temperature for pressure and temperature is 200°C. The maximum working pressure varies by model. For example, the maximum working pressure of FT14-4.5 is 4.5 bar g. Its working principle is to utilize the density difference between steam and water, and control the opening and closing of the valve through the lifting and lowering of the ball float.
