Taian is a manufacturer and supplier specializing in supplying PRV2SF direct acting pressure reducing valve.The working principle of this pressure reducing valve is that when it is started - the adjusting spring relaxes, the upstream pressure and the return spring press the valve head against the valve seat, and the valve is in a closed state. Adjust the downstream pressure - Rotate the handwheel clockwise to compress the control spring and extend the bellows, pushing the main valve to open. PRV2SF direct acting pressure reducing valve’s downstream pressure is sensed by the bellows. When the set pressure is reached, the force generated by the bellows is balanced with the spring force, and the valve remains at the set position. When the downstream pressure rises, the pressure sensed by the bellows increases, offsetting part of the spring force and closing the valve. When the downstream pressure drops, the spring force pushes the valve open to maintain the set pressure

Installation precautions

1. The front end of PRV2SF direct acting pressure reducing valve should be equipped with a steam water separator, and a drain valve should be installed at the bottom of the steam water separator.

2. The front-end should be equipped with a filter with a mesh size of 100.

3. Install bellows globe valves before and after the pressure reducing valve, and choose full bore globe valves to ensure rated flow and good control.

4. Pressure gauges should be installed before and after the pressure reducing valve.

5. The pressure reducing valve pipeline should be equipped with a bypass, and the equipment can be used for maintenance of the pressure reducing valve without shutting down.

6. When selecting a safety valve, the maximum flow rate of the pressure reducing valve should be considered when the safety working pressure of downstream equipment jumps, because the reseating characteristics and pressure reducing valve should be considered when the pressure reducing valve fails.
